Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs for the One Direction band. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they were winners. While he's always attracted to the arts, he hoping to be an attorney or physiotherapist. He worked for a time as a part-time baker in his city and hoped to assist economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. For that reason his band had to separate. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of a future band that would be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalist. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire as part of a deal for One Direction.
